I received this seedling in error last year and I am so glad I did. It is still under evaluation by Dan Trimmer for introduction and it is just phenomenal here. Huge 7-8" ruffled heavily substanced bloom that really loves cold weather! An early morning opener, even with its size, ruffling and heavy substance it has no problem opening flat as a pancake by dawn. The scape is not tall but it does bloom above the foliage which is low and spreading and does make for a balanced plant. Scape is about 22" but may be taller this year after a year in the ground here. It also has fabulous genetics to work with and is easily fertile both ways.
