Carpenter/Smith, tetraploid conversion, Ev-E, re, 20", 3 way branching with a bud count of 15; 4 1/2: dark purple with black purple eye lighter chalky outline around the eye that doesn't always appear. These statistics are for the diploid registration. I know the cultivar is hardy as it is coming in from the north. This should be interesting to work with. Due in spring '08.
