What makes this one interesting as John Benz points out is the refinement of the bloom as well as the induced tetraploid parentage. Silver Salute's parentage is T. Siloam Virginia Henson X T. Barbara Mitchell that makes its parentage totally of converted diploids. This has really come on strong here in 2007. Plant looks great and seems to love our weather. This will be a great tool, I think, for putting fancier edges and faces on a refined northern dormant. Fertile both ways.
