Carpenter 2003, tet, Ev-M, re, fr, 26", 5 way branching with a bud count of 25. Gorgeous purple bloom with huge royal purple eye and matching edge with full, round, overlapped ruffled form. The eye has a slight bluish cast that may indicate the unknown parent is from the Tet Lavender Blue Baby line. The pictures show how well this cultivar holds up in full sun as well. From a hybridizing standpoint, I call this my "secret Weapon". My seedlings from this are awesome! When crossed with non eyed and edged cultivars, this frequently produces complex, layered eyes that are really beautiful. Fertile both ways but pods not the easiest. Photo taken in my garden 6/05.
