Carr '06, tet, Ev-M, re, 30", 4 way branching with a bud count of 24; 5 1/4" saturated red blend with an unusual metallic orange-gold edge and full, overlapping form and wide blunt sepals. Bob Carr's daylilies always do well for me, especially his reds, so I was not surprised when this one quickly became a favorite. Unique and unusual and I love the velvety look.
