Grace/Smith '04, tet, SEv-M, re, emo, 28", 5 way branching with a bud count of 30+; 5 1/2" yellow tinted chartreuse (we rarely see that here on any of the "green" tinted varieties). I had reservations about adding another yellow, especially not knowing the pedigree, but I had heard from people who went to Mecca in 2004 that it was producing some remarkable seedlings for Frank Smith so thought I would give it a try. And yes, it is a "plain yellow" but has nice substance, form and ruffling, strong rebloom and vigor and I think it is probably the nicest yellow I have grown overall. Fertile both ways. Photo taken in my garden 6/06.
