Stamile '08, tet, Ev-MLa, emo, 28", 5 way branching with a bud count of 35-40; 4" cream with complex "blue" eye edged in fuschia. One of the goals of my hybridizing program is to create more interesting and varied eyezones into the big fat bagels I love so much. Pat Stamile states in his introduction notes that this is the bluest eyed daylily they have as yet produced and feels it will be an important parent for exploring blue in the daylily. This was one of my favorite new arrivals...gorgeous bloom, vigorous plant and strong rebloom. A real find! Fertile both ways. Photo taken in my garden 5/08.
