Baxter '05, tet, Dor-M, re, 28", 3 way branching with a bud count of 17; 5" pink blend with gold horns and teeth. I added this one to my program initially upon the recommendation of two hybridizer's whose opinions I respect. I realize the bud count and branching is not up to the usual standard I demand and the form is not as full as I like, although few offspring of Forestlake Ragamuffin meet my standards in any of these areas. What sets ALIQUIPPA above its fellow sibs is that the color is quite clear, lacking the muddiness that is characteristic among Forestlake Ragamuffin kids, it is dormant without requiring the extended freezes of more northern areas in order to grow and increase well, is heat tolerant, reblooms and most of all, it is producing some extraordinary offspring. I'm really looking forward to blooming some of its kids. Fertile both ways.
