Kirchoff '08, tet, Ev-M, re, ext, 28", 3 way branching with a bud count of 18+; 5 1/2" red with wide yellow gold edge. I never bought Madly Red because it has the old fashioned red habit of being top branched with a low bud count. I certainly would not have inbred to it. However, I added ALL DOLLED UP because I grow or have grown both BETTY FORD and INVITATION TO IMMORTALITY and bloomed super seedlings from each that are not top-branched and have good bud counts which made me believe that I can overcome this inbreeding to MADLY RED within one generation, producing very saturated bright red offspring with nice scapes and wide edging. Time will tell if I was right in my thinking.
